Many people know this problem

📬 "Where is my tax bill?"

Canton Bern still sends tax bills on paper, but strongly pushes for switching to the digital system BE-ePost. Many people become confused by advertising and demands and think they have to switch. Without setting up BE-ePost, you will continue to receive your bill on paper – but the pressure to switch is getting stronger.

→ This leads to uncertainty and pressure to switch

💳 "Health insurance not sending bills anymore"

Insurance companies, health insurers and utility providers aggressively advertise switching to digital bills. They still send paper bills, but pressure you with discounts and constant demands to switch digitally. Some people feel pressured and fear they won't receive bills anymore if they don't switch.

→ This leads to fears and uncertain decisions

📱 "Everything comes on the phone now"

Friends, children or bank employees say: "You have to do this digitally now". But that's not true – you can choose! Downloading apps, scanning QR codes, creating logins – for many people this is overwhelming. And the fear of doing something wrong or being "left behind" is great.

→ Many people feel pressured and overwhelmed

You are not alone with this problem!

Thousands of people in Switzerland feel overwhelmed by the pressure to switch. That's no shame – the advertising is confusing and no one clearly explains that you can choose. I'm here to explain your options and help – if you want to switch.

Why can you trust me?

Switching to digital mail is not just technology – it's a complex system. In my career, I have developed and built exactly such digital systems:

During my time at a major Swiss mobile network operator, I was responsible for developing digital services – so I know how these systems work and where the pitfalls are. As a business developer for mobile payment functions, I learned the security aspects of digital systems firsthand and can explain to you how your data is protected.

As project manager for electronic voting and the electronic patient record, I have led complex digital government projects and learned to understand how authorities work. This technical experience from previous positions, combined with my patience and understanding for people, makes me the ideal companion for your switch to digital mail.

I understand both the technology and your concerns – and explain everything in understandable language.

How I help you with the switch

✅ What I concretely do for you

  • Receive mail on computer/phone: I set up a system so you can see your letters digitally – on the device you prefer (technically called "ePost")
  • Tax bills from the Canton: Canton Bern still sends tax bills on paper but strongly pushes for switching to the digital system. I ensure you receive and can pay them if you want to switch (technically called "BE-ePost")
  • Bills directly in e-banking: Bills appear automatically in your e-banking, you no longer need to scan QR codes (technically called "eBill")
  • Switch all senders: Health insurance, insurance companies, electricity (ewb), telephone, internet – I contact everyone for you and switch them over
  • Create overview: You get a list of which sender is stored where – so you always have an overview
  • Personal training: I show you step by step how to view, pay and archive bills
  • Keep both running in parallel: During the switch you can use both systems – digital AND paper. So you can't miss anything
  • Follow-up care: After the switch I continue to be there for you if questions arise

🛡️ My guarantees to you

  • No fear of mistakes: I am there the whole time. Nothing can go wrong.
  • Reversal possible: Doesn't work for you? We switch everything back to paper. No discussion, no additional costs.
  • No time pressure: We work at your pace. Some customers need 2 hours, others 6 hours. That's perfectly fine.
  • Understandable language: No IT jargon. I explain everything so you understand it.
  • Absolute discretion: Your data stays with you. I only see what's necessary for the setup.

Frequently Asked Questions about Digital Support

What is the difference between "mail on computer" and "bills in e-banking"?

Mail on computer/phone is like a digital mailbox for ALL types of letters – not just bills, but also letters from the Canton, from insurance companies, etc. Bills in e-banking are only for bills – these appear directly next to your accounts and you can pay them with one click. You can have both – I help you decide what's best for you. (Technically this is called "ePost" and "eBill")

Is it safe? What happens to my data?

Yes, these systems are very secure – they were developed by Swiss Post and Swiss banks. Your data is stored in Switzerland and is encrypted. This is at least as secure as paper mail in the mailbox (which can also be taken from the mailbox by someone). I work absolutely discreetly and only see what is necessary for the setup. I don't get to know your passwords.

Does this cost me ongoing money?

No! The systems for digital mail and digital bills are completely free for you as a private person. You only pay once for my service for the setup and support. After that, no ongoing costs are incurred – except if you want the monthly support (CHF 60/month).

What if I don't have a smartphone?

No problem! You can also use digital mail on the computer – via your internet browser (like when you open a website). The bills in e-banking work on the computer anyway. We'll find the solution that's most convenient for you.

Can I switch back to paper mail later?

Yes, anytime! You can switch all senders back to paper mail. In the "All-Inclusive" package this is even included – I help you free of charge with the switch back if you're not satisfied. Don't worry, you're not trapped.

How long does the switch take?

Setting up on your computer/phone takes 1-2 hours. Switching all senders can take 2-4 weeks because some companies need time for processing. But you don't have to do anything – I take care of everything and keep you updated. During this time you continue to receive mail on paper.

What is this tax bill from Canton Bern?

Canton Bern still sends tax bills on paper, but strongly pushes for switching to the digital system "BE-ePost". Many people become confused by advertising and demands. Without setting up BE-ePost, you will continue to receive your bill on paper – but the pressure to switch is getting stronger. I help you set up BE-ePost if you want to switch.
